Buying a cheap tablet (3 of 3) - Recommendations for 10"

  • 3 min

In this post, we are going to make recommendations for buying cheap Tablets without dying in the attempt. As mentioned in the previous post, this does not mean you have to buy these specific models. The goal is to provide a range of models, from the most affordable to the most powerful, so you have a reference range for comparison.

As an example of a cheap 10” Tablet with reasonable features, I present the BQ Edison 10”. A model with a dual-core 1.6 GHz processor, a 1280x800 pixel screen, Android 4.0, 16GB of internal memory expandable with microSD. Very interesting specifications for the price of 199€.

The top-of-the-line in 10” is the Nexus 10, the best Tablet at the moment. Its exceptional IPS screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600. It features a dual-core A15 1GHz processor, which provides enough power to handle anything thrown at it. It runs the new Android 4.2 system, and has a microSD slot, GPS, NFC. Priced at 399€, it is the best option at the moment… if it ever becomes available again, as it sold out the moment it went on sale.

In the following table, I show you this data to facilitate comparisons.
