Buying a cheap tablet (3 of 3) - Recommendations for 10"

In this post we are going to make recommendations for buying cheap tablets without breaking the bank. As mentioned in the previous post, it doesn’t mean you have to buy these models. It’s about providing a range of models, from the most affordable to the most powerful, so that you have a range of references with which to compare.

As an example of a cheap 10” tablet with reasonable features, I’m going to mention the BQ Edison 10”. A model with a dual-core 1.6 GHz processor, with a 1280x800 pixel screen, Android 4.0, 16GB of internal memory expandable with microSD. Very interesting specifications for the price of 199€.

The top of the range in 10” tablets is the Nexus 10”, the best tablet of the moment. Its exceptional IPS screen has a resolution of 2560 x 1600. It has a dual-core A15 1GHz processor, which provides enough power to handle anything. It runs the new Android 4.2 system, and has a microSD slot, GPS, NFC. At a price of 399€, it is the best option at the moment… if it ever becomes available again as they sold out at the time of release.

In the following table I will show you these data, to facilitate comparisons.
