Microcontroller Filtering Simulator

This simulator compares simple digital filters for signals measured with microcontrollers and shows how they reduce noise or add delay.

  1. Adjust the input signal and noise level.
  2. Select the filter type or its parameters.
  3. Observe the filtered signal and the trade-off between smoothing and response.

Filtering a signal is not free. The more you smooth noise, the easier it is to introduce delay or miss fast changes in the real signal.
